Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (remote)

Ironwood Junction Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Madison, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about maintenance stores. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with maintenance stores. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
