Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (Raleigh, NC)

Fernwood Basin Legal Group is a Raleigh practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about court deadlines. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with court deadlines. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
