Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (Portland, OR)

Rivermark Birch Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Portland, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about event logistics. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with event logistics. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
