Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (Philadelphia, PA)

Fernwood Maple Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Philadelphia, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 54 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about school calendars. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with school calendars. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
