Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (Orlando, FL)

Bright Orchard Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Orlando, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about hardship programmes. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Orlando. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
