Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (Milwaukee, WI)

Highbridge West Arts Center Group is a cultural organisation in Milwaukee presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about ticketing. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with ticketing. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
