Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (Madison, WI)

Ironwood Fox Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Madison. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about attendance records. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with attendance records. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
