Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (Knoxville, TN)

Fernwood Hollow Energy Group delivers power and gas plans across the Knoxville region. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about billing disputes. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with billing disputes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
