Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (Jackson, MS)

Rivermark Amber Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Jackson plant. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about customer orders. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
