Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (Jackson, MS)

Westbrook Rowan Legal Group is a Jackson practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. Confidentiality and accuracy are taken very seriously. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about court deadlines. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with court deadlines. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
