Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Clearpath River Water Authority and adding a Senior Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about meter reading. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
