Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (Grand Rapids, MI)

Silverline Pine Community Partners Group is a Grand Rapids charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about benefits enrolment. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with benefits enrolment. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
