Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (Grand Rapids, MI)

Highbridge Amber Insurance Group provides coverage to households and businesses around Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about catastrophe response. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
