Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (Grand Rapids, MI)

Greenridge Pike Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Grand Rapids area. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about school calendars. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with school calendars. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
