Senior Content Writer - plain-language guides (Detroit, MI)

Clearpath Amber Community Partners Group is a Detroit charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about volunteer shifts. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with volunteer shifts.
