Stonegate Harbor Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Chicago. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about ticketing. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with ticketing. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
