Senior Content Writer - newsletters (Seattle, WA)

Cedar Corner Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Seattle area, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our newsletters. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about meter reading. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
