Senior Content Writer - newsletters (Rochester, NY)

Greenridge Sparrow Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Rochester presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our newsletters. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about visitor services. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with visitor services. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
