Senior Content Writer - newsletters (Reno, NV)

Fernwood River Community Partners is a nonprofit in Reno supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our newsletters. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about benefits enrolment. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
