Senior Content Writer - newsletters (remote)

Lumen Lakeside Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Detroit design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about ridership counts. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
