Senior Content Writer - newsletters (remote)

Cedar Union Civic Services works with county and city offices around Spokane. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about budget submissions. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with budget submissions. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
