Senior Content Writer - newsletters (Memphis, TN)

Northwind Birch Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Memphis, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our newsletters. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about ridership counts. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
