Senior Content Writer - newsletters (Jackson, MS)

Bright Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Jackson working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about accessibility audits. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
