Senior Content Writer - newsletters (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Fox Insurance and adding a Senior Content Writer whose main responsibility will be newsletters. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about customer complaints. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
