Senior Content Writer - newsletters (Detroit, MI)

Rivermark Bright Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Detroit plant. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about proofing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
