Senior Content Writer - newsletters (Cleveland, OH)

Ironwood Umber Civic Services supports public agencies in Cleveland with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on newsletters. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about procurement. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with procurement. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Cleveland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
