Senior Content Writer - newsletters (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Orchard Telecom and adding a Senior Content Writer whose main responsibility will be newsletters. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about outage reports. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
