Senior Content Writer - newsletters (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Linden Arts Center and adding a Senior Content Writer whose main responsibility will be newsletters. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about volunteer programmes. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
