Senior Content Writer - newsletters (Austin, TX)

Stonegate Junction Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Austin. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about rent assistance. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with rent assistance. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
