Senior Content Writer - newsletters (Austin, TX)

Clearpath Cross Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Austin. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people based in Austin. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about budget submissions. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with budget submissions. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
