Senior Content Writer - newsletters (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Wilder Learning Group and adding a Senior Content Writer whose main responsibility will be newsletters. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Austin. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about family communication. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
