Senior Content Writer - newsletters (Austin, TX)

Silverline Rook Press produces print and digital publications in Austin, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our newsletters. You would join a large organisation of about 626 people based in Austin. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about press runs. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with press runs. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
