Senior Content Writer - help-centre articles (Seattle, WA)

Summit Ventures helps transport agencies around Seattle design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on help-centre articles. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about fare systems. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
