Senior Content Writer - help-centre articles (remote)

Stonegate Forge Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Grand Rapids design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on help-centre articles. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about ridership counts. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
