Senior Content Writer - help-centre articles (remote)

Fernwood Labs is a nonprofit in Jackson supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our help-centre articles. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about volunteer shifts. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer shifts. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
