Senior Content Writer - help-centre articles (remote)

Fernwood Thistle Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Seattle and nearby communities. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on help-centre articles. You would join a small organisation of about 195 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about treatment plant data. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
