Senior Content Writer - help-centre articles (remote)

Silverline Ember Community Partners is a nonprofit in Kansas City supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our help-centre articles. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about benefits enrolment. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
