Senior Content Writer - help-centre articles (Oakland, CA)

Northwind Rook Press produces print and digital publications in Oakland, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our help-centre articles. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about paper stock. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with paper stock. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
