Senior Content Writer - help-centre articles (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Summit Nest Community Partners and adding a Senior Content Writer whose main responsibility will be help-centre articles. You would join a large organisation of about 575 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about client intake. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with client intake. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
