Cedar Pike Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Kansas City. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on help-centre articles. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about catastrophe response. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with catastrophe response. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
