Senior Content Writer - help-centre articles (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Drift Civic Services and adding a Senior Content Writer whose main responsibility will be help-centre articles. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about permits. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
