Senior Content Writer - help-centre articles (Jackson, MS)

Bluepeak River Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Jackson plant. We are hiring a Senior Content Writer to take on help-centre articles. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about proofing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with proofing. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
