Senior Content Writer - help-centre articles (Grand Rapids, MI)

Bright Vale Community Partners is a Grand Rapids charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our help-centre articles. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about client intake. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with client intake. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
