Senior Content Writer - help-centre articles (Birmingham, AL)

Ironwood Cobalt Insurance Group sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Birmingham, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our help-centre articles. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about claims. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
