Senior Content Writer - case studies (San Jose, CA)

Harborlight Yarrow Civic Services supports public agencies in San Jose with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our case studies. You would join a small organisation of about 77 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about public records. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with public records. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
