Senior Content Writer - case studies (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Quill Civic Services and adding a Senior Content Writer whose main responsibility will be case studies. You would join a small organisation of about 162 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about budget submissions. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with budget submissions. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
