Senior Content Writer - case studies (Jackson, MS)

Fernwood Orchard Arts Center is an arts centre in Jackson with a full calendar of events, and we need a Senior Content Writer to lead our case studies. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about event logistics. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with event logistics. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
