Senior Compliance Analyst - training and awareness (San Jose, CA)

Fernwood Ashton Foods is a San Jose food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Senior Compliance Analyst to take on training and awareness. You would join a small organisation of about 173 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Track findings until they are fixed. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Train staff on requirements for cold storage. What we are looking for • Comfort saying no politely. • Careful reading and clear writing. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
