Senior Compliance Analyst - policy monitoring (San Diego, CA)

Clearpath Meridian Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around San Diego. We are hiring a Senior Compliance Analyst to take on policy monitoring. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Train staff on requirements for constituent requests. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Track findings until they are fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Careful reading and clear writing. • Comfort saying no politely. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
