Senior Compliance Analyst - policy monitoring (Houston, TX)

Fernwood Corner Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Houston, and we need a Senior Compliance Analyst to lead our policy monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Train staff on requirements for underwriting files. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Track findings until they are fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Careful reading and clear writing. • Comfort saying no politely. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
